Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. Beautiful, intelligent and skilled actress, she's a great example to Asian actors aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. An early string of success performances in popular TV series resulted in her being popular for her role in the show of Ally McBeal, where she was Ling Woo. After her popularity, she was offered significant roles in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). Then she gave a stunning performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing famous characters in animated films, such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't yield outcomes. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas which featured Liu in recurring parts, helped to establish her role as an actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully so that she doesn't get cast in an industry that is competitive. Though she has embraced her roots she has not let it restrict her artistic abilities.
