LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most popular player. James won two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA titles. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second highest career point total, and the seventh highest career assist total. This is a record for the NBA for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. James was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of these were consecutive between the year 2011 until 2018. James has been selected for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a prep-topro. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league players and was awarded the NBA MVP title in both 2009 & the year 2010. James was a free agency in 2010 after failing to secure championships for Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
