Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. Parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on 1st February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where as well as three of his classmates, he formed his own band, White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding results. He always had an interest in music, but also wanted to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. As a worker in the city's pastry shop, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation was a fact in 2010. The five youngsters were supported by Simon Cowell. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they were among the finalists. However, they finished third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell still paid 2 million pounds in cash to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
