Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old and grew up living in Orange County. Her big break occurred in 2015 when she earned her degrees from University of California San Diego. Pernas began her acting career through tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the role Marisa. The actress, who left The soap after 2016, was cast in the role as Catalina as a regular on Jane the Virgin. The model, who is fluent in four languages, has since appeared in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and the year 2020 Pernas was portrayed by Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause and the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. Pernas Hartley got married in secret with Pernas on May 20, 2021. A few minutes later she was snarling through the opening blast from Splish Splash the much-decaffeinated smash by Bobby Darin, only to then unleash an outburst of I adore rock and roll! It was far more Joan Jett in tone than Kim McAfee - the lively character she played as part of Bye Bye Birdie, a film that helped her become instantly a well-known star.
