Mena Alexandra (born on 13 February 1979) is an actress and model hailing from the United States of America. Her modeling career began in the year 1990, and then moved into acting following appearances as a guest on TV shows like Boy Meets World or High Incident. She made her film debut in 1997's dramatic film Nowhere. She made the transition to important roles thanks to her performance as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for an BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which brought an international audience. Since then she appeared on screen in Loser (2000) along with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). She had appearances in the 2002 independent drama Spun and the 2004 horror film Trauma. In 2004, she appeared on HBO's show Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award 2005 for her role in the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008 she was seen in various films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the movie adaptation to The Garden of Eden.
