Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical show. Growing up with Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study acting at Tisch. The school was heavily involved in the nightlife scene in New York City and made enough noise that she was recognized from the news media. While doing so she began to become aware of AIDS and its devastating impacts. Then, she used her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write the musical called Positive Me which she played a role in. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her job. Once the program was over, she went on to join the film as well as TV productions. Her first job was in tiny roles and then established herself gradually as an actor.
